STM publisher Elsevier has announced the launch of Clinical Neurophysiology Practice, an open access journal that focuses on clinical practice issues in clinical neurophysiology. The journal will cover latest research, case reports, clinical series, normal values and didactic reviews. It is an official journal of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology and complements Clinical Neurophysiology.
Clinical Neurophysiology Practice will support established clinical practice and will educate trainees, technicians and practitioners. It will provide a vehicle for extended case reports and a forum for discussion of clinical practice. Furthermore, the journal will include papers that do not immediately fall within the research priorities of clinical neurophysiology. These include, for example, normative studies, good studies that are largely confirmatory and technical and methodological studies.
The journal will be under the professional leadership of Editor-in-Chief, Prof. David Burke, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and University of Sydney, Australia, and associate editors, Dr. Susan Herman, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, and Dr. Josep Valls-Solé, Hospital Clinic 1 Provincial de Barcelona, Spain.
