STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced that ten new eBook Specialty Collections have launched on MD Consult (http://www.mdconsult.com), its online clinical reference tool. This launch provides online availability of market-leading specialty content in dermatology, dermatologic surgery, family medicine, general radiology, geriatric medicine, hand surgery, neonatology, otolaryngology, pathology, and shoulder surgery.
Elsevier's health science books are published under the imprints W.B. Saunders, Mosby, Churchill Livingstone, and Hanley & Belfus, publishers with a rich medical and health science publishing heritage dating back to 1688.
The addition of these new specialty collections follows the successful launch of five new eBook collections in September 2008, covering content in Anesthesia, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, Netter's Orthopaedics, and Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. By the end of 2009, more than 400 new specialty titles will be available as part of MD Consult eBook Specialty Collections, contributing to the evolution of the MD Consult platform into the most comprehensive and authoritative resource for medical information in all medical specialties.
