Elsevier publishes four new books in environmental sciences portfolio -

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of four new environmental science books offering the latest information on the study of soil and water, including the fourth edition of Soil Microbiology, Ecology and Biochemistry, written by Eldor Paul, Senior Research Scientist at the Natural Resources Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, and Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University.

The study and understanding of soil biota, their function, and the dynamics of soil organic matter has been revolutionized by molecular and instrumental techniques, and information technology. The new edition of Soil Microbiology, Ecology and Biochemistry updates this widely used reference with all of the latest concepts and provides readable, practical, impactful information for its many applied and fundamental disciplines.

The new environmental science books are: Soil Microbiology, Ecology and Biochemistry, 4th Edition by Eldor Paul; Principles of Soil and Plant Water Relations, 2nd Edition by M.B. Kirkham; Microbial Biodegradation and Bioremediation by Surajit Das; and Chemical Fate and Transport in the Environment, 3rd Edition by Harold Hemond and Elizabeth Fechner. These books are available on the Elsevier Store and on ScienceDirect, Elsevier's full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from over 2,200 peer-reviewed journals and more than 25,000 book titles.
