Elsevier to publish Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology -

STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced an agreement to publish the Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology on behalf of the Korean Society of Applied Entomology, the Taiwan Entomological Society and the Malaysian Plant Protection Society.

The Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology will play a key role in the entomological research community in the Asia-Pacific region, and will act as a welcome bridge between Asia and the rest of the world in advancing basic and applied entomological research. The journal will publish content from other regions to reach a broader audience, as well as to share common interests.

The Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology publishes original research papers, review articles and short communications in the basic and applied area concerning insects, mites or other arthropods and nematodes of economic importance in agriculture, forestry, industry, human and animal health, and natural resource and environment management. The first issue of the journal can be accessed for free on Elsevier' online scientific research platform, Science Direct, at http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/journal/12268615.
