Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Limited, UK, has announced that ‘critical perspectives on international business’ has won its inaugural Best New Journal award. Free access was given for 16 eligible Emerald journals and the winner was decided by open vote. In total, over 1000 votes were cast.
critical perspectives on international business proved to be essential reading both for academics with research interests in international business and practitioners seeking alternative perspectives on management practice. The three runners up in the competition will also be made freely available until the end of March 2010. They are: Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management (www.emeraldinsight.com/qrom); Society and Business Review (www.emeraldinsight.com/sbr); and International Journal of Emerging Markets (www.emeraldinsight.com/ijoem).
