Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing has revealed the top 20 global academic institutions with the highest downloads of Emerald eJournal content as part of its 5th annual High Usage awards.
The High Usage awards celebrate and recognise the relationship between Emerald and the winning institutions; acknowledging the wide-ranging, high quality content and services Emerald provides to faculty and students, and rewarding the loyalty of its customers.
Last year's winner, Universiti Teknologi MARA, is once again the institution with the highest number of Emerald eJournal downloads with over 970,000 downloads during 2015; Universiti Utara remains in second place and Monash University has climbed two places into third with over 333,900 and 290,000 eJournal downloads during 2015, respectively.
The widespread locations of the winning institutions emphasize the global reach of Emerald's high quality content, with institutions from Malaysia, Australia, UK, USA, Pakistan and Thailand all within the top 20 institutions.
