Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing is providing a cash prize to three different American Library Association (ALA) professional recognition and research fund awards. The prizes recognize outstanding contributions and publications and provide research grants to those in the field of librarianship.
Emerald has provided recipients of the ALA LITA/LHT award, the Ilene F. Rockman Instruction Publication of the Year Award and the BRASS Emerald Research Grant Award with a cash prize. The names of the winners have been announced by the respective divisions and represent the outstanding achievement displayed by those involved in research and communication in the field of librarianship. The awards will be presented at the ALA annual conference, scheduled for June 25 – 30, 2015, in San Francisco.
Emerald has supported professionals and researchers in librarianship through the ALA awards for more than ten years. Librarians play a key role in academic institutions and their commitment, contribution and development to the field is recognised through these awards.
