Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Limited, UK, has announced that it will take part in the World Class Practices in Management Education Conference organised by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), in Dubai from December 6-8, 2009.
Reinforcing its commitment to scholarly research and education in the region, John Peters, Chief Executive of Emerald, will be among presenters at the ‘Management Research in the Middle East and Asia’ Plenary Session, on December 7.
Emerald recently opened its first office in the Middle East. The new office, located in Dubai's 'Media City', is headed by Alastair Cook, Business Manager for the Middle East and Turkey. Cook has previously worked within academic publishing and brings to Emerald over 17 years of experience having worked for Elsevier Science, Wolters Kluwer Health and more recently Thomson-Reuters.
