Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced that it will present Emerald Backfiles at the VALA 2008 Conference and Exhibition, to be held at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne, from February 5-7. Emerald will release the digitisation of the full archive of its journal titles in business, management, library and information services, materials science, and engineering. Andrea Gilbey, Emerald's new Australia-based Business Manager for the region, will be on hand at the Emerald booth to discuss Emerald Backfiles and Emerald's recent acquisition of Elsevier's Social Science Book Series, Serials and Monographs.
Also on show will be Emerald's flagship product, Emerald Management Xtra. Emerald Management Xtra is claimed to be the largest, most comprehensive online collection of peer-reviewed management journals, created to meet the needs of educators, students, researchers and information professionals working in the business community.
