Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, has announced the appointment of Andrea Gilbey as business manager for Australia and New Zealand. Gilbey will be based in Australia, enabling her to meet existing and prospective customers and provide training sessions on Emerald's online collections of journals. With this appointment, the company now has business managers working in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, China and India.
Gilbey has worked for both publishers and aggregators in the UK and Australasia for the last 12 years and has a diploma in Library and Information Studies. She most recently served as Journal Sales Director for Blackwells, Asia and also as ANZ Regional Sales Manager for Elsevier.
