Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Limited, UK, has announced that it will sponsor the 2nd Annual Conference of the AROQA (Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education). The event is scheduled to be held at the University of Kuwait from February 15-17, 2010.
The conference is expected to provide a unique opportunity for academics, businesses and government leaders to debate the challenges facing business education. Reinforcing its commitment to scholarly research and education in the region, Emerald will host a workshop on ‘Writing and Publishing Management Research’ on February 17, 2010. This will be led by Alastair Cook, Emerald Regional Manager/Vice President, Middle East, Maghreb & Turkey, alongside Professor David Weir, Head of the Business School at Liverpool Hope University, UK. Alastair will also present ‘The changing world of management research’ in line with the ‘New Trends in Business Education’ theme of the Conference.
