Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, recently launched its new website www.emeraldinsight.com as part of a planned series of improvements to its web platform.
The initial phase of enhancements focused on creating a more intuitive, user-friendly design with improved search and browsing capabilities making the site easier and more efficient to use. In addition to its fresh new look, the functionality of the website has been upgraded. The enhanced marked list facility now includes Direct Export functionality for the RefWorks citation management system.
These changes are the first in a series of developments to be introduced throughout 2010. Future releases will include more mainstream Pay Per View mechanisms and will provide enhanced features and functionality for services such as e-mail alerts and RSS feeds, reference linking, and authentication.
