Academic and professional literature publisher Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., UK, and The Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS), in association with the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP) and the International Academy of African Business and Development (IAABD), are offering a research grant to fund an African project in the field of management research. The funding grant of up to £2,500 will be offered to the winners of the grant.
To be eligible for the grant, at least one member in each research team must be based in Africa. Applications should address the dissemination of knowledge for the social good with a specific orientation toward benefit for Africa. They will be judged by a panel of experts according to a set of criteria such as the significance of the research and its originality. Also, in line with Emerald’s publishing philosophy of ‘Research You Can Use’, projects should make an outstanding contribution to theory and its application in the field of management research.
All applications are required to be submitted on or before February 1, 2010.
