Medical information company Teton Data Systems, US, has announced a partnership with EMpact to provide the former's flagship product, STAT!Ref, to libraries and other medical research organisations in different parts of the world. EMpact is the publisher representation group within the EBSCO Information Services division.
STAT!Ref, is a subscription-based, online medical reference library. It includes key medical and pharmacology reference books, internal medicine and point-of-care resources and a comprehensive nursing and dental collection. The product helps healthcare professionals, students and researchers gain fast access to current information, evidence and decision support tools.
The EMpact partnership seeks to provide STAT!Ref with increased exposure throughout a number of international markets and access to several prestigious institutions. EMpact will represent STAT!Ref to organisations in South America, Africa, Europe (excluding the UK and Scandinavia), Asia (excluding the Middle East, Taiwan and Korea), Australia and New Zealand, and North America (excluding the US and Canada).
