McGraw-Hill Construction, a US-based provider of project and product information on the construction industry, has announced that its Engineering News-Record (ENR) has won five 2012 Azbee Awards of Excellence from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). Each year, these prestigious awards recognise excellence in editorial, design and online achievement among business-to-business, trade, association and professional publications.
The Engineering News-Record (ENR) publication provides the news, analysis, commentary and data that construction industry professionals need to do their jobs more effectively. The weekly magazine is subscribed by more than 70,000 subscribers. The ENR.com website gets over 90,000 unique visitors a month. The audience includes contractors, project owners, engineers, architects, government regulators and industry suppliers - many of whom work around the world. ENR connects diverse sectors of the industry with coverage that everyone needs about issues such as business management, design, construction methods, technology, safety, law, legislation, environment and labour.
ASBPE’s Azbee Awards of Excellence programme claims to be one of the most competitive awards for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications. The awards recognise outstanding work by magazines, newsletters, and digital media - Websites, e-newsletters, digital magazines and blogs. The competition is open to all US-based publications. The 2012 Azbee Awards were presented during awards banquets each region held in July and August.
