Web content management (WCM) platforms provider EPiServer, UK, has announced expansion plans for the UK market, including a wholly-owned UK subsidiary, new customer and partner initiatives and the launch on the UK market of new services, including EPiServer Everweb.
The company aims to grow its organisation in the UK by at least 50 percent over the next 12 months, building on its established base of over 330 UK customers using EPiServer across 2,500 websites. These include Reed Business Information, Bauer Consumer Media, Cunard/P&O Cruises, Silverstone, Toshiba, Mazda and the NHS. Strategic partnerships will also play a key role, as EPiServer develops its relationships with some of the UK's leading digital agencies. Developing the offering to match the needs on the UK market is central to EPiServer's UK expansion plans.
EPiServer Everweb joins EPiServer Commerce, an integrated e-commerce platform for content, commerce, community and communications that was launched in June. As part of EPiServer's expansion plans, the company has also acquired Harbour Software, which formerly ran its UK operations. The owner, Neal Perry, will build on his proven success and experience in the UK to drive operations as Country Manager for the newly formed EPiServer UK subsidiary.
