Open access (OA) scholarly publisher Co-Action Publishing, Sweden, has announced a partnership with the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS) to launch the latter's new OA journal, European Journal of Psychotraumatology. As the official organ of the society, the publication will aim to engage scholars, clinicians and researchers in the crucial discourse about traumatic stress and its consequences.
The Journal is in line with ESTSS's mission to advance and disseminate scientific knowledge about traumatic stress within Europe and internationally. It will publish peer-reviewed original research as well as papers documenting evidence-based clinical practice.
The new journal, expected to go live during the fall of 2010, will be led by Associate Professor Miranda Olff, Head of the Center for Psychological Trauma at the Department of Psychiatry at the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam, and current President of ESTSS. Six associate editors and two statistical advisors will support her along with an Editorial Board comprised of leading researchers from some twenty different countries.
