European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatment launches new journal - Clinical Psychology in Europe -

European Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychological Treatment (EACLIPT) has launched its official academic journal, Clinical Psychology in Europe (CPE). With an editorial board of internationally recognised experts, CPE claims to be the first and only European journal covering the entire spectrum of clinical psychology.

All contributions published in CPE will be accessible free of charge (open access), thus maximising their visibility for both academics and practitioners. The journal welcomes research conducted both in and outside of Europe covering multiple approaches, topics and conceptual views that contribute to advances in clinical psychological science.

This can include stimulating papers that foster clinical psychology research, papers reporting advancements in diagnostics, classification, or treatment approaches as well as updates on state-of-the-art topics. CPE will present the wide range of clinical psychological research and thus will offer insights and practical advice on health care issues and approaches in the field of clinical psychology.

CPE publishes original research articles, review studies and meta-analyses. To further enhance quality and replicability in clinical psychology, CPE also accepts registered reports for confirmatory research as well as properly conducted replication studies. Striving for providing readers with the most up-to-date and cutting-edge advances in clinical psychology, CPE also welcomes submissions of scientific updates and short reports on the latest developments in the field.

CPE also offers a platform to communicate about legal issues on psychology and psychological treatment, training curricula, or political news of relevance for clinical psychology.

CPE is provided by PsychOpen GOLD, The European Open-Access Publishing Platform for Psychology, a project by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID), Trier, Germany.
