Academic publisher SAGE has announced that the European Journal of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EJCPR) has announced the winner of its Highly Cited Paper Award.
This year’s award winning paper is ‘Integrated electronic decision support increases cardiovascular disease risk assessment four fold in routine primary care practice’ by Sue Wells, Sue Furness, Natasha Rafter, Elaine Horn, Robyn Whittaker, Alistair Stewart, Kate Moodabe, Paul Roseman, Vanessa Selak, Dale Bramley, and Rod Jackson. In addition, three papers were recognised for this achievement as nominees.
The annual award, created by the EJCPR, recognises the winning paper based on citations during 2010 to papers published in 2008 and 2009. The European Journal of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation is published by SAGE in association with the European Association of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation: A registered branch of the European Society of Cardiology.
The award will be presented by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Diederick E. Grobbee, to Professor Rod Jackson, who will be speaking at the session entitled Predicting and communicating CVD risk to patients and populations on April 16 at EuroPRevent 2011.
