European Menopause and Andropause Society publishes position statement on the post-reproductive health of women -

STM publisher Elsevier, Netherlands, has announced the publication of an important position statement from the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) in the journal Maturitas on managing menopausal women with a personal or family history of venous thromboembolism (VTE). The statement includes summary recommendations as a quick aid for the busy clinician.

Maturitas is an international multidisciplinary peer reviewed scientific journal of midlife health and beyond publishing original research, reviews, consensus statements and guidelines. The scope encompasses all aspects of post-reproductive health in both genders ranging from basic science to health and social care.

The statement will be published in the June 2011 issue.
