Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that its campusM™ higher-education mobile app platform has already been adopted at 50 university campuses in the UK and many more worldwide. The campusM app supports many aspects of student life, in addition to the teaching and learning processes. On many campuses, the app is integrated with wider campus systems such as learning management, student records and administration, and library services.
Launched in 2009, campusM has rapidly grown to become an integral part of life for hundreds of thousands of students. The flexibility of the app enables it to be integrated with learning management systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, and Moodle. These integrations, used in combination with the analytic data that the app provides, are helping learning-support professionals identify students in need of assistance to improve their learning outcomes.
Universities are also using the app to support the recruitment of undergraduates, to improve retention and course completion through student engagement in university life, and to increase university income streams by strengthening alumni relations and philanthropy development.
