The widespread and ongoing adoption of Alma as the preferred library solution underscores its proven ability to streamline the management of library electronic, print, and digital collections. In addition to its core services and valuable functionalities, the robust Alma community and the strong relationship with Ex Libris have played pivotal roles in this rapid growth. Beyond addressing current library resource management challenges, Alma continues to evolve to meet the diverse needs of libraries globally. Since the beginning of 2023, more than 400 enhancements have been introduced for Alma. The published roadmap for 2024 outlines opportunities for libraries to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in open access and collaboration.
