Experimental Lung Research to be official publication of BALR -

Experimental Lung Research, a publication of Informa Healthcare, has announced a new partnership with the British Association for Lung Research (BALR), an association for scientists working in lung research. As part of the deal, the journal will become the official publication for the society.

The new partnership seeks to provide a platform to exchange ideas and further promote scientific advancement in lung research. The society advocates interest and encouragement towards studies in the field of experimental research, and serves as a network to exchange ideas. BALR also encourages members to exchange materials and techniques between laboratories to help standardise specific areas of interest.

Experimental Lung Research publishes original and timely articles in all fields of respiratory tract anatomy, biology, developmental biology, toxicology, and pathology. Emphasis is placed on investigations concerned with molecular, biochemical, and cellular mechanisms of normal function, pathogenesis, and responses to injury. Led by Mark Giembycz, Ph.D., at the Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation at University of Calgary, the journal is published 10 times in a year.
