ExPub launches new resource to assist occupational health and safety professionals manage impact of chemicals on employees and public -

Expert Publishing (ExPub), a division of EBSCO Information Services, has announced the launch of PoisonEXPERT, a resource designed to assist occupational health and safety professionals employed by organisations that use or manufacture large quantities of chemicals and need to manage the impact of chemicals on their employees and the public.

PoisonEXPERT provides access to relevant chemical-specific information and medical protocols that allows users to make confident, informed assessment and treatment decisions, including toxicology exposure assessment and management of hazardous substances. The product is a valuable tool for organisations that respond to fires, spills or explosions involving hazardous substances, author and distribute Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other forms of hazardous communications, submit regulatory documents, evaluate product safety, and monitor, manage, or mitigate chemical exposures.
