Farm Journal Media has received the coveted Grand Neal Award during American Business Media's 57th Annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards ceremony, held at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. The winning entry, 'The Farm Journal Legacy Project,' from the company's print and online titles Farm Journal, Top Producer, Dairy Today, AgWeb, AgDay, and U.S. Farm Report, also took home the Neal Award for 'Best Integrated Package.'
Last year the Neal Awards competition was transformed with the addition of 11 new categories to better reflect today's multi-platform media environment. This year, for the first time ever, awards were presented in categories for best editorial use of mobile and social media, and best range of work by a single author.
American Business Media (ABM) also honored the very best of the b-to-b industry through a series of special awards recognising industry commitment.
Established in 1955, the Jesse H. Neal Awards recognise and reward editorial excellence in business media. They are named after American Business Media's first managing director, who remained active in promoting the industry throughout his life.
