FASEB launches online tool to connect researchers and suppliers -

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) recently announced the launch of an online tool aimed at bridging the gap between the more than 100,000 members of FASEB's 23 member societies and biomedical supply companies.

FASEB has partnered with web publishing company MultiView, Inc. to create the Life Science Marketplace, an online directory containing only products and services from the experimental biology field. The directory will feature only products and services aimed towards helping biomedical researchers and companies find the most cost-effective and convenient business tools.

The Marketplace provides consumers with a clutter-free way to browse for goods and services, searching only within the parameters of the experimental biology field. Professionals can utilise either a basic search by keyword or an advanced search using a company name, exact phrase or geographic location. Vendors now have the ability to present their catalogue of products directly to those industry specific buyers they have been looking to target.

Listed suppliers can further connect with users through a Completed Listing, featuring: contact information, a quick e-mail option, location and links to the company's website and social media pages. Suppliers also have the option to highlight specific products in the Product Showcase section of the Marketplace.
