First NPG issue of Polymer Journal now live on nature.com -

Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG), UK, has announced that the first issue of Polymer Journal on nature.com is now live. The journal is the official publication of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan (SPSJ). SPSJ claims to be the world's largest polymer science society.

The January 2010 issue is the first to be co-published by NPG, and showcases the journal's redesign, including a new-look cover, new website, and new graphical table of contents. Polymer Journal is a significant addition to the program of partnerships between NPG Nature Asia-Pacific and key scientific and clinical organisations across the Asia-Pacific region. It represents the first academic journal for NPG in the physical sciences and chemistry, not just for the Asia-Pacific programme but worldwide.

Published in English since 1970, Polymer Journal covers the whole range of polymer science: polymer syntheses and reactions, polymer structures, physical properties of polymers, functional polymers, biopolymers, and polymer engineering.
