FIZ Karlsruhe releases inaugural sustainability report, outlines future goals -

FIZ Karlsruhe has released its inaugural Sustainability Report, highlighting its commitment to transparency and responsibility in social, environmental, and occupational health initiatives. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the institute’s efforts in social commitment, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection.

Over the past year, FIZ Karlsruhe conducted a detailed analysis of its sustainability activities, collecting data on energy consumption, CO₂ emissions, and business travel. The findings reveal significant progress while also identifying areas that need improvement, offering a clear roadmap for future action.

With a long-term goal of achieving climate neutrality, FIZ Karlsruhe plans to integrate sustainability across all operations. To ensure accountability and continuous progress, the institute will publish annual reports tracking milestones and updating stakeholders on new initiatives. This first report marks the beginning of an ongoing development process that combines social, ecological, and economic responsibility.
