Dr. Sorensen's leadership experience at The University of South Carolina, Johns Hopkins University and many other institutions will be a valuable asset to Collexis as the academic and government markets represent a major area of the company's growth. Sorensen retired as President of The University of South Carolina in June 2008. He continues to serve as a distinguished professor at the University's School of Medicine.
