The press conference with Carolin Emcke, recipient of the Peace Prize 2016, took place in the morning of day three of the Frankfurt Book Fair. The talk was in German, translated simultaneously into English.
A guided tour to the Frankfurt Hot Spots, and a meet & greet with the exhibitors was also organised.
At the expert talk, organised in cooperation with the EDFVR, VR experts such as Sven Häberlein (VR Producer / Film Director, CEO, Trotzkind GmbH), Michael Hooper (General Manager, Text International GmbH) and Arne Ludwig (Managing Director, Headtrip and Chairman EDFVR) discussed the potential and the possibilities of VR technology in the creative business.
The topic of this year's Weltempfang is "Europe!": Flight and migration, integration, and freedom of speech are some topics that were discussed on stage at the Weltempfang and the LitCam.
The day closed with the award ceremony of the 60th German Children's Literature Award.
