Frankfurt Book Fair launches digital platform 'Frankfurt Connect' -

The Frankfurter Buchmesse (FBM), the world’s largest trade fair for books, is set to launch 'Frankfurt Connect,' a cutting-edge digital platform designed to enhance business services and networking opportunities for exhibitors and visitors. This initiative is part of FBM24, the fair's comprehensive suite of services for 2024.

Frankfurt Connect aims to bring the publishing community together digitally, offering a centralized hub for industry players. Based on the globally recognized ExpoPlatform technology, which is used in trade fairs like IMEX Frankfurt, Frankfurt Connect provides a robust digital infrastructure for business and networking activities.

The launch of Frankfurt Connect introduces several key features:

• New Presentation and Interaction Options for Exhibitors: Enhanced tools for exhibitors to showcase their offerings and engage with visitors.

• Networking Features: Advanced algorithms for recommendations and connecting with suitable new contacts.

• Digital Business Card: Simplifies networking on-site by allowing easy exchange of contact information.

• Interactive Hall Plan: Facilitates navigation and interaction within the exhibition space.

The platform aims to foster connections within the publishing community and facilitate new projects. FBM teams are developing these services using agile methodologies, with continuous user feedback to optimize Frankfurt Connect.

The Frankfurter Buchmesse, held every October, is renowned for its role as an international hub for literary exchange, a marketplace for publishing rights, and a platform for democratic dialogue. With the addition of Frankfurt Connect, the fair is poised to enhance its digital engagement and support the global publishing industry in new and innovative ways.
