Frankfurt Book Fair partners with O'Reilly and EDItEUR for Tools of Change event -

The Frankfurt Book Fair and publisher O'Reilly Media, Inc. are teaming up with international publishing standards organisation EDItEUR to offer a full-day Supply Chain track at the Tools of Change for Publishing Frankfurt Conference scheduled for October 11, 2011.

The new track will be held in lieu of the International Supply Chain Meeting, which has been a staple of the Frankfurt Book Fair calendar for 32 years. EDItEUR will devise a full day of sessions, speakers and panels relevant to the international publishing supply chain that will be integrated into the overall TOC Frankfurt programme.

Now in its third year, TOC Frankfurt will once again seek to connect people, content and conversations in global publishing and technology. According to Kat Meyer, Co-Chair and Community Manager for Tools of Change, this year's programme will provide a focus on data, design, development and deployment along with a special emphasis on the change in Tools of Change. Confirmed speakers for the Supply Chain track include Peter Brantley (Internet Archive/Open Book Alliance), Philip Downer (Former CEO of Borders UK), John Ingram (Ingram), Bill McCoy (IDPF) and Jonathan Nowell (Nielsen Book).
