The Frankfurt Book Fair has announced that, for the third year in a row, it will be sponsoring one of the key categories at this year's FutureBook Innovation Awards. Launched by the UK's Bookseller Magazine five years ago, the awards celebrate those companies and individuals who are playing a key role in driving the publishing industry forward. The Frankfurt Book Fair will be sponsoring 'The Digital Achiever of the Year Award', a new category designed to highlight and celebrate those who are actively working for digital change within their organisations. The shortlist for all seven categories will be announced at the Book Fair in October.
Do you know someone who is actively working for digital change? They may come from any area of the book business, any department, and any level- either independently or in a corporate environment. However, the one thing they must demonstrate is a clear commitment to the digital transition within the book business. Your candidate must showcase how they have met the challenge of the digital transformation in their day to day work. They must have an enthusiasm for digital change and a track record for innovation, and must show how they have applied this thinking to their job. You can make submissions on behalf of your candidate, or you can submit your own nomination.
Interested entities may nominate their choice for 'The Digital Achiever of the Year Award' by visiting:

The deadline is September 25. Nominations will then be narrowed down to a shortlist, and the names will be revealed at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October.
All the shortlisted candidates, for all categories of the FutureBook Innovation Awards, will be announced at the Book Fair in Hall 6.2, at the Hot Spot Digital Innovation (Stand D22), on October 15 at 5pm. The category winners will be announced at The Bookseller's FutureBook conference on December 4 in London.
