Open access publisher Frontiers has announced a publishing agreement with the Japanese Society for Cutaneous Immunology and Allergy (JSCIA). This partnership marks a significant milestone as Frontiers' first foray into the Japanese publishing landscape, solidifying its commitment to fostering global collaboration in the field of biology and medicine.
Under this agreement, Frontiers will publish the esteemed Journal of Cutaneous Immunology and Allergy (JCIA), the official journal of JSCIA. Renowned for its high-quality, peer-reviewed research in dermatology, JCIA covers a broad spectrum of topics, with a particular emphasis on cutaneous immunology and allergy. From molecular studies to clinical investigations and observations, the journal serves as an international forum for skin researchers and dermatological scientists.
JSCIA joins Frontiers' growing community of esteemed publishing partners in the realms of biology and medicine, which includes notable institutions such as the Polish Biochemical Society, the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine, the Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Biomedical Science.
The Journal of Cutaneous Immunology and Allergy is now open for submissions, and the complete transition to Frontiers is expected by January 2024.
