Publisher Future Science Group (FSG) has announced that two of its key titles have been selected for coverage by MEDLINE. Maintained by the US National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) is a premier bibliographic database containing approximately 13 million references to journal articles in life sciences. The two titles are Epigenomics and Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology.
Epigenomics, launched in 2009, is published under the Future Medicine imprint. The journal publishes high quality original research and review papers under the auspices of senior editors Dr James G. Herman (Johns Hopkins Oncology Center, USA) and Dr Jörg Tost (Centre National de Génotypage, France).
Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology forms a key part of the 18-title Expert Review series. The series addresses the main clinical specialties together with key areas of biomedical research. The journal specifically provides a forum for informed debate and critical analysis of all aspects of safety, tolerability, efficacy and therapeutic applications of medicines. The journal also addresses toxicity issues and adverse reactions, pharmacoeconomics and societal issues.
Both titles are produced bimonthly on a rapid publication and appear in print and online formats, with ahead-of-print articles released to ensure instant accessibility. Both journals practice rigorous peer review with articles subject to assessment by a minimum of three independent experts.
