Library resources provider Gale, part of Cengage Learning, has announced the appointment of Brian McDonough as Senior Vice President for North American Sales. McDonough comes to Gale with an extensive background in integrated information solutions sales and working with customers in the library market.
McDonough joins Gale from Thomson Reuters where he served most recently as the head of North American sales for academic and government markets in the intellectual property and science practice. Throughout his 15 years in sales and sales management roles in the academic, scientific and scholarly research markets, McDonough has proven his ability in building client relationships, expanding market share and improving bottom line profitability.
Effective immediately, McDonough will join the Gale leadership team reporting to Paul Gazzolo.
