Technology research firm Gartner, Inc., US, has announced that nominations are now open for the Gartner IODC 2012 Futuristic Data Center Design Excellence Awards for the Asia Pacific region. The awards will be presented at the Gartner Infrastructure, Operations and Data Center Summit in Sydney on March 5-6, 2012.
The Gartner IODC 2012 Futuristic Data Center Design Excellence Awards recognise the most successful recent data center design implementation by organisations that demonstrate high levels of business impact and overall excellence in the integration, technology and deployment of a futuristic design.
Nominations will be accepted from any relevant end user organisation and will close on January 19, 2012. Technology vendors and service providers are not eligible for the award, but are encouraged to nominate their customers.
The top three finalists will each present their case studies during Gartner Infrastructure, Operations & Data Center Summit in Sydney on March 5-6, 2012. Summit attendees will vote to select the winner from these finalists, who will be announced during the summit.
