Bibliographic databases, books, and interactive electronic resources publisher CABI, UK, has announced that its Global Health Archive is now accessible on EBSCOhost. Global Health Archive includes more than 800,000 records and provides information on public health, tropical & communicable diseases, nutrition, helminthology, entomology, and mycology. The archive includes six printed abstract journals produced between 1910 and 1972.
Global Health Archive is a companion to Global Health, a public health database with more than 1.2 million records which is already available via EBSCOhost. Global Health Archive puts current international and public health problems in a historical context. The digital archive contains information on issues that are still being researched today including: bioterrorism, disease control, patent protection, food security & malnutrition, effects of economic development on health, and many more. The Archive has been reindexed to complement the current Global Health file.
Accessing the Global Health Archive via EBSCOhost allows researchers to leverage the power of EBSCOhost including direct linking to full text in other EBSCOhost databases, other materials in a given library's collection, and EBSCO's Image Collection. Users can also take advantage of the folders, citation, bookmarking, email, and RSS alerts that have made EBSCOhost one of the most-used research platforms available.
