Global Leaders Institute to host Digital Publishing Asia Pacific 2010 summit in China -

Business events organiser Global Leaders Institute, China, will host the Digital Publishing Asia Pacific 2010 (DPAP2010) event. The two-day executive summit, scheduled for November 16th and 17th in Beijing, China, will examine the hot-button issues facing the digital publishing industry and explore partnering opportunities in the industry in China. The goal of the summit is to find solutions to the developmental bottlenecks of the digital publishing industry in the country.

The event will seek to provide an opportunity for publishers, e-book producers and distributors, e-reader providers, e-publishing solution providers and a wide variety of stakeholders to participate in informative sessions on issues of the China digital publishing market. These include profitable business models, eBook production and distribution, DRM (Digital Rights Management) applications, eBook format standardization, multi-channel publishing, next generation e-readers, etc. More than 150 high-profile attendees from traditional/digital publishers from home and abroad will examine the current status, predict developmental trend of digital publishing and provide an opportunity for participants to tap into business opportunities in the region.

Presenters speaking at the main conference include Nie Zhenning, President of China Publishing Group; Liu Yingjian, Chairman of Hanwang Technology; Margaret Seale, M.D of Random House Australia; Michael Smith, Executive Director of International Digital Publishing Forum; and Hou Xiaoqiang, CEO of Shanda Literature, among others.
