Search engine and online engineering community operator GlobalSpec, US, has announced a partnership with NASA Tech Briefs. The official publication of the US' National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), NASA Tech Briefs is designed to reach OEM design/development engineers and managers.
Under the deal, visitors to the NASA Tech Briefs website (www.techbriefs.com) will now be able to search for products and services by specification. Additionally, users will benefit from having The Engineering Web at their fingertips, making it faster and easier for them to search for materials including engineering and technical websites and web pages, part numbers, news, research papers, editorial content, material properties, patents and standards. The Engineering Web enables users to examine over 250 million web pages of engineering and technical content, including patents, standards, material properties, specifications and application notes.
A monthly publication, NASA Tech Briefs features exclusive reports of innovations developed by NASA and its industry partners that can be applied to develop new/improved products and solve engineering or manufacturing problems. Authored by the engineers or scientists who did the work, the briefs span a wide array of fields, including electronics, physical sciences, materials, computer software, mechanics, machinery/automation, manufacturing/fabrication, mathematics/information sciences, and life sciences.
