Energy industry publisher Gulf Publishing Company, US, has announced the appointment of Maggie Seeliger as Vice President of Strategic Business Development effective June 30, 2008. The announcement was made by John D. "Rusty" Meador, President/CEO of Gulf Publishing Company.
In her new position, Seeliger will oversee and provide direction for the expansion of the company's event business. She will also be expected to direct the company's growth into new lines of business. Seeliger most recently served as Senior Manager of Marketing Communications for the engineering and construction firm KBR.
In a related announcement, the Company has named Tricia Crossey as the new Process Editor of Hydrocarbon Processing, a monthly magazine serving the refining, petrochemical and gas processing industries.
Crossey will be involved with evaluating and editing articles on liquefied natural gas (LNG), gas processing, process and laboratory analysers, and plant safety and environment. She will also travel to industry conferences, both domestic and international. Also, she will be responsible for obtaining and editing contributions to the 2009 Gas Processing Handbook and contributing to the 2009 HPI Market Data Book.
