Hannah Telfer to present third keynote speech at Publishing for Digital Minds Conference -

The London Book Fair, in association with The Publishers Association, has announced that Hannah Telfer, group director for consumer and digital development of Penguin Random House UK, will give the third keynote speech at the Publishing for Digital Minds Conference.

Telfer will join Digital Author of the Day, David Nicholls and Facebook Creative Shop's Rob Newlan as headline speakers at the conference, which returns to Olympia on April 13, 2015 from 09:00. This seventh edition of the conference, sponsored by the Copyright Clearance Center, will bring together voices from across the content industries to discuss the topics that will define the future of publishing in 2015 and beyond, to an audience of delegates drawn from over 20 countries.

Joining the programme for Publishing for Digital Minds is a round of further speakers from the worlds of content marketing, mobile analytics, wearable technology and intellectual property. Andy Oakes, head of content for the marketing trends bible The Drum, will appear in the Effective Content Strategies panel. This session will take a closer look at what publishers can learn from the content and search engine marketers, with Andy joined by two sector experts, Sonja Jefferson (Virtual Content) and Dan Smales (Lion Digital). Meanwhile, Simon Andrews, founder of mobile marketing agency Addictive, will deliver a session on mobile strategies.

The conference will also throw the spotlight on the fortunes and opportunities facing a new breed of digital publishers and micro-publishers in a session curated and chaired by independent publisher Alison Jones. Michael Healy, CEO of the Copyright Clearance Centre will give delegates a Cook's Tour of Copyright, while Helen Sun, CEO of Publishing Technology China will focus on this huge and fascinating market in the Market Snapshots session.
