Harvard professor heads up international conference on frontiers in research -

Jisc and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), a joint project of the Association of Research Libraries and EDUCAUSE, have announced the line-up of keynote speakers for their summer conference in Bristol. The Jisc and CNI leaders conference will take place from July 14 - 15, 2020 in Bristol. Tickets can be booked on the Jisc website.

Speaker Alexa McCray, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, will address challenges around knowledge representation and discovery, and will outline how the university library can be a catalyst for best practice.

Specific attention will be given to the role libraries can play in adapting to new technologies and workflows.

Other keynote speakers already confirmed are Prof. James Wilsdon from the University of Sheffield and leader of the Research on Research Institute; and Dan Cohen, dean of libraries and professor of History at Northeastern University.
