The site was officially unveiled at Learn Immuno-Oncology New York on March 23 - a one-day, live event held the day before HEMONC TODAY Melanoma 2017 in New York City.
LearnImmunoOncology.com is led by Dr. Robert H.I. Andtbacka, Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology at the University of Utah, and Co-Director of the Melanoma Clinical Research Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Through curriculum-based module learning and assessments, physicians and other healthcare practitioners will learn about the basics of tumor immunotherapy as well as therapeutic approaches, clinical indications, adverse effects, and more.
