HighWire Press, Inc., a technology platform and strategic partner to influential scholarly publishers and societies, has announced the appointment of Claire Milburn as Business Development Manager for EMEA.
Claire will report to Tracy Capaldi-Drewett, VP Global Marketing and EMEA Sales and comes to HighWire with over 15 years of publishing and technology experience. She has held senior roles at Waterstones, BFI Publishing, Omnibus Press, Taylor & Francis, Amazon, Swets Information Services and Ingenta. Claire's recent experience has been in selling large enterprise level software and platform solutions to the scholarly publishing market, and building long-term partnerships with her customers, driving their growth and revenue.
According to Tracy, Claire brings a strategic business focus to HighWire's growing sales team. Her extensive experience within the sector, both in software sales and working directly for publishers brings a real depth of understanding and empathy for publishers who are looking for platform technology in the UK, Europe and the rest of EMEA.
