Non-profit electronic archiving service provider Portico, US, has announced an agreement with Hogrefe & Huber Publishers, Germany, to preserve its twelve English-language online journals that cover a range of areas in psychology and psychiatry.
Through this agreement with Portico, Hogrefe & Huber seeks to ensure that these online journals will be preserved and available for future scholars, researchers, and students. Hogrefe has also named Portico as a mechanism to fill post-cancellation access claims and agreed to make an annual financial contribution to Portico.
With the inclusion of Hogrefe's journals, over 7,900 e-journals and 4,400 e-books have now been entrusted to the Portico archive.
