Hong Kong Baptist University signs Read & Publish agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry -

Hong Kong Baptist University has signed a Read & Publish licensing agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). This means that authors from the university can now publish Open Access in Royal Society of Chemistry journals for no additional fee and have access to the full range of academic content from these journals.

The agreement will run from 1 January 1, 2023, for three years until December 31, 2025. All articles from Hong Kong Baptist University published by the RSC during that period will be publicly available.

According to Paul Lewis, Chief Operating Officer, RSC, the Read & Publish agreements form a key part of the commitment to ensure that chemical science research is as accessible as possible to researchers everywhere. This new agreement with Hong Kong Baptist University makes them part of a growing community of signatories to Read & Publish agreements around the world and ensures that the university's innovative research is available for anyone to read at no cost.
