The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) has announced that Ian Russell will be stepping down from the position of Chief Executive at the end of June.
Ian joined ALPSP in October 2006 having previously been Head of Publishing at the Royal Society (the national academy of sciences for the UK). He is stepping down to take up a post at Oxford University Press where he will be Editorial Director for their growing portfolio of physical and life science journals.
ALPSP will be advertising for Ian's replacement shortly and more information will be posted on www.alpsp.org in due course.
