Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG), UK, has announced that IBMS BoneKEy is now live at www.nature.com/bonekey, featuring a new online only review journal, BoneKEy Reports. IBMS BoneKEy is projected as an established online knowledge resource about metabolic bone disorders, now published by NPG on behalf of the International Bone and Mineral Society (IBMS). BoneKEy Reports has published its first review articles and all content published during January 2012 will be free for all to access.
A subscription journal, BoneKEy Reports publishes review articles and research highlights on all scientific and clinical aspects of bone health and disease. Access to all content published within the journal is free to members of the IBMS. The journal is edited by the same team of editors as the IBMS BoneKEy site, led by Dr. Serge Ferrari of Geneva University Hospital, Switzerland.
IBMS BoneKEy has been redesigned and redeveloped as part of its move to nature.com, but retains the features and content the community have come to expect. It continues to provide a wide variety of content free of charge to registered users including BoneKEy Knowledge Environment, BoneKEy Community, BoneKEy Genetics and a webinar series. The entire archive to 2001 is also available on nature.com currently. BoneKEy Genetics summarises key data from human genetic association studies in the osteoporosis field. BoneKEy Oncology will be re-launched later this year on nature.com and until then IBMS BoneKEy will continue to publish high-quality content relating to bone and cancer.
NPG works with more than 34 societies and organisations worldwide to provide publishing services and publishes over 50 journals in its academic and society journals program. Access IBMS BoneKEy at www.nature.com/bonekey.
