This World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, ICE Publishing has signed the SDG Publishers Compact.
Launched in October 2020 by the UN and the International Publishers Association, the SDG Publishers Compact is designed to inspire action among publishers and accelerate progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
ICE Publishing is the publishing division of the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) and a leading provider of information for researchers and practitioners worldwide in the fields of civil and environmental engineering and materials science. As engineers have a large part to play in sustainable development, they already publish a lot of content around the SDGs.
By signing the Compact, ICE Publishing commit to act as champions of the SDGs by publishing books and journals that will help inform, develop, and inspire action in that direction.
